NYC CANNOT HANDLE 110-THOUSAND MIGRANTS
DAILY MAIL:
New York's police officers will face overtime cuts - despite increased crime - as the city continues to struggle with the financial toll of the migrant crisis that has overwhelmed the Big Apple.
Upwards of 110,000 migrants are littered across the New York area, with most arriving in the last 18 months from the southern border. New York City Mayor Eric Adams has warned the issue could cost taxpayers $12million and destroy the city.
Jacques Jiha, the city's budget director, has told not just the police department, but fire, sanitation and corrections to drastically reduce overtime.
The move is part of city-wide budget reductions to help find money to pay for the swell of migrants. The situation might even lead city shelters to force migrant women and children to live in tents because of overcrowded facilities.
TWR: The reason we have Laws in this Nation is because in the near two and one half centuries of Our existence, we have learned what works and what doesn’t.
You ignore those laws, and by extension, the lessons they are based on, at your peril.
New York has ignored Federal Immigration Law, flouted it in fact, to appease anti-American Leftists who obviously want to live in the garbage dump that is now New York City.
Sympathy for New York, or for New Yorkers is totally misplaced…
Think of it, all the people whose safety, standard of living, sanity these Sanctuary City pushing snots have now taken from their neighbors.
TX GOVERNOR FIRES BACK AT NYC MAYOR ADAMS
FOX NEWS:
Gov. Greg Abbott cited one of the New York City area's most famous crooners to ding the Big Apple's mayor after Eric Adams complained about the city's illegal immigrant overflow and referred to the Texas Republican as a "madman."
Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" has long defined the City That Never Sleeps, but its most famous boast may not entirely befit the current mayor, Abbott told "Jesse Watters Primetime" Monday.
When asked if he is indeed a "madman," Abbott fired back that Adams instead is the "outrageous" one.
"When I first heard that, I thought about Frank Sinatra singing ‘New York, New York’ when he sang ‘If I can make it there, I can make it anywhere.' Well, [Adams] may have made it to be mayor of New York, but he could not last a week in Texas," he said.
TWR: Governor Abbott is correct…Mayor Adams wouldn’t last a week in Texas.
MCCARTHY MAY AGREE ON IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY THIS WEEK
FOX NEWS:
Fox News Digital has confirmed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., will tell House Republicans today that beginning an impeachment inquiry against President Biden is "the logical next step."
The House GOP conference plans to hold a meeting on Thursday morning for key committee chairs to lay out their latest findings and the status of the investigations into the Biden family. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., are expected to lead Thursday's meeting.
This special conference meeting on Thursday is in addition to Wednesday morning’s regularly scheduled weekly GOP meeting where leadership typically lays out priorities for the week.
TWR: “The logical next step…”.
The question is, will these spineless Rinos take it?
NEW COVID SHOTS OK’ED BY THE FDA
USA TODAY:
The Food and Drug Administration on Monday authorized updated COVID-19 vaccines aimed at more recent viral variants.
The move has been expected since earlier this summer, when an advisory committee recommended the move.
A different advisory committee meets Tuesday to recommend how the vaccine should be used.
COVID-19 infections have been rising since early July, data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows. Hospitalizations are up nearly 16% and deaths nearly 17% in the week that ended Thursday, compared to the week before, though totals remain well below previous peaks.
TWR: So…The President, the CDC, Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Fauci, Health & Human Services…All of them now rendered totally untrustworthy…Because they lied to us…Over & Over.
What do we do? Take the new vaccine? Why? Since the last ones didn’t stop the spread, didn’t even stop COVID, what exactly did they inject into us?
What do they want to inject into us now?
Not trying to be difficult…Just looking for real answers.

NEW MEXICO—GOVERNOR SUSPENDS 2ND AMENDMENT, SHERIFF SAYS ’NO
FOX NEWS:
Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is facing widespread pushback from state law enforcement officials following her attempt to ban concealed and open carry permits.
Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen described Grisham's 30-day "public health order" as "unconstitutional" during a press conference this week despite standing beside the governor during her rollout of the policy.
"It’s unconstitutional, so there’s no way we can enforce that order," the sheriff said in a Monday news conference. "This ban does nothing to curb gun violence."
Allen claims he pressured against the public health order, saying "[Grisham] knew we as law enforcement did not agree with the order, and as a result, this was solely her decision."
Grisham fired back at Allen following his press conference, ordering the law enforcement official to "stop being squeamish" about enforcing the order.
TWR: Good for Sheriff John Allen for refusing to enforce this Leftist-Progressive, Socialist, Anti-American Governor’s outright Unconstitutional tyranny.
Tar? Feathers? Rail?
What will New Mexicans do with this jerk?
PENNSYLVANIA—POLICE CONTINUE MANHUNT FOR ESCAPED KILLER
FOX NEWS:
A school district in southeastern Pennsylvania announced that all of its schools and offices will be closed Tuesday as Danelo Cavalcante, who remains on the run after he escaped from prison nearly two weeks ago, is now armed, according to police.
The superintendent of the Owen J. Roberts School District in Pottstown said "As a result of increased police activity in our community related to the pursuit of an escaped inmate from Chester County Prison, and after consultation with state and local law enforcement, we have made the decision to close all schools and offices in our district today."
Pennsylvania State Police said on social media that Cavalcante, 34, has a .22 caliber rifle and that residents in the area should "lock all doors and windows, secure vehicles, and remain indoors."
They also said that officers were pursuing Cavalcante in the area of Ridge Road, Coventryville Road and Daisy Point Road in South Coventry Townpoint in Chester County.

ALABAMA—SUPREME COURT REDISTRICTING DECISION CAUSES EPIC DEBATE
USA TODAY:
Alabama officials filed an emergency appeal at the Supreme Court late Monday, asking the justices review its controversial congressional map that critics say dilutes Black voting power.
While the lawsuit is technically limited to Alabama, the outcome will affect other legal challenges to congressional districts, particularly in the south. Together, those cases could give African Americans more power to choose congressional candidates − and it could give an advantage to Democrats in the 2024 election.
The appeal came days after a federal court in Alabama struck down that state's congressional map for not including a second majority African American district or something close to it. Alabama's map includes one of seven districts where African Americans make up a majority of voters, even though African Americans make up 27% of the state's population.
TWR: The question is…How should US Congressional Districts be apportioned?
· Should all states use race as the sole determining factor? If so, does that mean Voting Districts should be segregated?
· Should Districts be drawn so that all ethnic groups have the same voting power, regardless of the actual percentages of the state’s population?
· Should all Districts be determined solely by equal division of the state population, regardless of race? Or,
· Should the Judicial Branch of Federal & State governments actually respect the Separation of Powers Doctrine, and butt out?
POLITICS:
FORMER PRESIDENT TRUMP ASKS FEDERAL JUDGE TANYA CHUTKAN TO RECUSE HERSELF
CNN:
Former President Donald Trump is asking Judge Tanya Chutkan to recuse herself from the 2020 election subversion case against him brought by special counsel Jack Smith.
Trump, in a new court filing Monday, pointed to comments that Chutkan made in cases involving January 6 US Capitol rioters. He argued that there was “little doubt” that reasonable members of the public might “believe she has prejudged both the facts pertinent to this case and President Trump’s alleged culpability.”
“In a highly charged political season, naturally all Americans, and in fact, the entire world, are observing these proceedings closely,” he said. “Only if this trial is administered by a judge who appears entirely impartial could the public ever accept the outcome as justice.”
The Trump team quotes an October 2022 sentencing hearing, in which Chutkan said that “the people who mobbed that Capitol were there in fealty, in loyalty, to one man – not to the Constitution. … It’s a blind loyalty to one person who, by the way, remains free to this day.”
And in a December 2021 sentencing hearing, Chutkan told another Capitol riot defendant that “the people who exhorted you and encouraged you and rallied you to go and take action and to fight have not been charged.”
TWR: Judge Chutkan would be wise to step out of the trap she now finds herself in…For several reasons.
First, she’s politically biased.
She’s uninterested in the 1st Amendment Right “to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
And finally,
She’s in a no-win situation. Her irresponsible public statements regarding Trump give her an opportunity to escape this mosaic of only bad choices, by using the least damaging one; Recusal.
WHITE HOUSE FIRES BACK AT STORIES ABOUT THE PRESIDENT’S AGE & STAMINA
THE HILL:
The White House is lashing out at the media’s fixation on President Biden’s age and his stamina for executing the job, seeking to go on offense on an issue that polls suggest is one of Biden’s biggest vulnerabilities in his reelection campaign.
Aides in a series of social media posts took direct aim at news stories and headlines — even those from left-leaning publications — relating to the 80-year-old president’s age, suggesting it was a lazy narrative that ignored Biden’s marathon trip in Asia over the last five days.
Principal deputy press secretary Olivia Dalton took issue with a CNN headline that highlighted an awkward end to Biden’s press conference Sunday in Hanoi in which press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre interrupted him while Biden was still responding to a shouted question from a reporter in the room.
TWR: There is something oddly inspiring about the President’s Communications Department working so hard to defy gravity.
They have, easily the worst job in the United States…Defending the obvious impairments of a clearly aging man.
The President is simply not up to this job.
Further…We are all taking part in the Washington DC Establishment’s pathological push to work Joe Biden to death.
To the Democrat Party Establishment…Stop whipping this sad old horse. Let him go home.

BIDEN ADMINISTRATION STRIKES 6-BILLION DOLLARS TO IRAN
FOX NEWS:
The Biden administration has struck a deal with Iran to swap prisoners and release $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds.
Per the deal, Iran will release five American citizens detained in Iran and the U.S. release five Iranian citizens being held in the U.S.
The deal creates a blanket waiver to transfer $6 billion in frozen Iranian money from South Korea to Qatar without fear of violating U.S. sanctions. No money is going directly to Iran and no U.S. taxpayer funds are being used.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed off on the deal late last week, but Congress was not notified of the decision until Monday, the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, according to the notification, which was obtained by The Associated Press.
TWR: It started in 1979…Iran’s strategy of kidnapping Americans for Fun and Profit.
The People of Iran are actually very impressive. They’re well educated as a population…They have great senses of humor…And,
They play the political buffoons of United States Government like a fine guitar. Just like they’re doing now.

JETS WIN GAME, LOSE AARON ROGERS
USA TODAY:
"Monday Night Football" ended with Jets fans in jubilation thanks to undrafted rookie Xavier Gipson's 65-yard walk-off punt return to defeat the Buffalo Bills in overtime, 22-16.
Gang Green faithful also left drained, as Quarterback Aaron Rodgers' suffered a potentially season-altering injury, feared to be a significant Achilles ailment, could dash any measure of expectations placed on the team by themselves, their fan base and the football world.
You felt the life leave the stadium," Jets running back Dalvin Cook, also making his Jets debut, told USA TODAY Sports. "A guy like that, you don’t not feel it."
Said running back Breece Hall about Rodgers' injury: "It sucks, bro. I'm happy about the win, but I'd rather have that guy on the team, so it just sucks."
TWR: 4 Plays…Out for the year.
Considering his yearly salary of $37,500,000.00… That’s $9,375,000.00 per play.
Aaron Rogers even injured, brings a great deal to the New York Jets. His mentoring of Zach Wilson is not dependent on being able to play.
If he stays with the team, he might still have an opportunity to get Owner Woody Johnson his second Lombardi Trophy.
I sincerely hope Aaron Rogers has successful surgery…And returns to the field for the New York Jets.
Good Luck Aaron!!

STEVEN TYLER INJURES VOCAL CHORDS, WILL POSTPONE FAREWELL TOUR
FOX NEWS:
Steven Tyler suffered "vocal cord damage" following Aerosmith's concert on Saturday in Chicago, forcing the band to postpone a string of upcoming shows on their farewell tour.
"I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days," Tyler shared on the band's social media platforms Monday.
"I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve."
It is unclear if Tyler will require further medical attention after vocal rest.
Rescheduled dates on the tour included stops in Detroit, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Raleigh and Cleveland.
TWR: All of us who use our voices for a living, dread the loss Steven Tyler is experiencing this very minute.
A ruptured vocal cord, or cords can be a career-ending injury.
As with Aaron Rogers, here’s wishing Steve a quick and complete recovery.
