BIDEN ADMINISTRATION SENDS MEMO TO MEDIA DIRECTING IMPEACHMENT COVERAGE
NBC NEWS:
The White House sent a memo to U.S. news organizations on Tuesday, calling on media to "scrutinize House Republicans' demonstrably false claims" surrounding their impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
"It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies," said the memo, which was addressed to editorial leadership at media outlets.
"When even House Republican members are admitting that there is simply no evidence that Joe Biden did anything wrong, much less impeachable, that should set off alarm bells for news organizations."
The memo was written by Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the White House counsel's office. He also sent a 14-page appendix that rebuts seven Republican claims and calls the impeachment inquiry "all politics and no evidence."
"We hope this document helps provide you with factual information useful in your reporting on their unprecedented, unfounded claims underlying an impeachment inquiry without any evidence of wrongdoing," Sams said.

TEXAS JUDGE RULES OBAMA-ERA DACA POLICY VIOLATES FEDERAL LAW
USA TODAY:
A federal judge in Texas on Wednesday ruled that an Obama-era policy that protects undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children violates federal law, the latest setback for so-called "Dreamers" in a case that will likely be decided by the Supreme Court.
Created by former President Barack Obama more than a decade ago, the DACA policy halted deportations and granted work permits for certain immigrants brought to the country illegally as children – a group that became known as "Dreamers." But the program was created through executive action and has been at the center of court battles for years.
The ruling Wednesday, which the Biden administration is likely to appeal, does not require the government to take action against current DACA recipients but would bar it from approving new applications. The case could bring additional attention to immigration as a political issue heading into the 2024 election.
TWR: When President Obama issued his Executive Branch Memorandum of June 15, 2012 creating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, he circumvented the passage of the Dream Act, which would have provided legal status for Illegal Aliens brought to the US as Children.
DACA lasted until the Trump Administration. Then President Trump ordered a phase out of the program, which was challenged in Federal Courts. The fight rose all the way to the US Supreme Court which upheld the original memorandum as Law.
President Biden then reinstated the DACA program, only to have Federal Judge Andrew Hanen strike down the Executive Order, a decision which was upheld by the 5th US Circuit Court.
The case was then sent back to Judge Hanen to rule on whether Biden Administration changes made to the program would render DACA legal.
For the second time, Judge Hanen said no, but allowed the program to continue until further judicial decisions were made by higher courts.
FLORIDA SURGEON GENERAL ADVISES AGAINST NEW COVID SHOT

Contradicting guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state’s top health department official recommended residents against getting a new COVID-19 vaccine booster.
Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and Republican governor Ron DeSantis, who is also running for president, discussed the state's new vaccine guidance on Wednesday during a panel discussion with health professionals who were critical of the shot.
Ladapo announced that state health officials will warn anyone under the age of 65 against getting the new boosters recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
DeSantis strongly promoted COVID-19 vaccines when they were first released but has since become one of the most prominent public officials raising questions about their safety, even as federal health officials insist that the benefits of the shots outweigh any risks.
TWR: This is the direct result of the blatant fascism displayed by the Biden Administration, the CDC, the Department of Health & Human Services, the DOD, even the State Department in forcing US Citizens to take vaccines or suffer professional consequences.
Further, the Vaccines, which were promised by government officials to ‘Stop the Spread’, ‘Prevent infection’ were found to be ineffective.
So, what is a ‘vaccine’ that doesn’t prevent either the infection from or the spreading of the virus it’s designed to stop? You tell me…One thing is for sure, it’s not a ‘vaccine’.
Now they want us to take another one? Why?
DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE REPORT ON US MILITARY ‘EXTREMISM’ IS OVERDUE
USA TODAY:
Sounding a fresh alarm about white supremacism and extremism in the military, a coalition of more than 35 human rights groups, experts and faith organizations this week called on the Secretary of Defense to account for the department’s apparent lack of progress.
“Extremism undermines the strength of the military and our democracy,” the groups, led by Human Rights First, wrote in a letter Wednesday to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
The letter cites a USA TODAY investigation published in July, which found the military could show almost no progress on a collection of reforms Austin called for more than two years ago.
The organizations called for a public update, noting that the military’s own study of extremism in the ranks has been completed but never publicly released, as USA TODAY reported exclusively in July.
TWR: There are 2 reasons why this DOD Report on White Extremism in the US Military has yet to be released…
1. There is a vast Right-Wing Conspiracy within the military, covering up White Supremacy…
2. Or….There is no White Extremism in the US Military.
My own, first-hand military experience has shown me that the latter reason is true.
However, if there’s no provable White Extremism in the US Military, can the DOD release a report that says so? Nope.
Why? Because Defense Secretary Austin would be embarrassed.
He was so sure that extremism would be found, he never stopped to even consider he might be wrong.
So that being the likely case, it’s far easier to just let White Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen and Guardians twist in the wind, rather than admit that Secretary Austin was wrong.
Shameful.

WAPO COLUMNIST DAVID IGNATIUS OPINES BIDEN SHOULD NOT RUN

Longtime Columnist David Ignatius is calling for a new Democrat Presidential Ticket for the 2024 Election.
“I don’t think Biden and Vice President Harris should run for reelection. It’s painful to say that, given my admiration for much of what they have accomplished. But if he and Harris campaign together in 2024, I think Biden risks undoing his greatest achievement — which was stopping Trump.”
Biden would carry two big liabilities into a 2024 campaign. He would be 82 when he began a second term. According to a recent Associated Press-NORC poll, 77 percent of the public, including 69 percent of Democrats, think he’s too old to be effective for four more years.
Biden [should] say no — to himself, this time — by withdrawing from the 2024 race. It might not be in character for Biden, but it would be a wise choice for the country.
TWR: Finally, someone on the American Left found the guts to report the obvious.
Sure, David Ignatius slathered on meaningless praise, (OK butt-kissing) before making the call no one in Democrat Leadership could…But he finally spoke Truth to Power.

COLUMNISTS ADVISE BIDEN TO DROP HARRIS AS 2024 RUNNING MATE

New York Magazine Intelligencer columnist, Eric Levitz has an idea on how to make President Joe Biden more electable in 2024: Drop Vice President Kamala Harris and pick a new running mate.
Levitz floats several options to replace Harris including Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.), Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) and Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-Ill.).
“To be sure, it’s risky to switch out the first Black and female vice-president for someone else.”
But it is also risky to saddle an 81-year-old nominee with an exceptionally unpopular running mate who — if all goes well — will be all but guaranteed the party’s nomination in 2028.”
However, dumping Harris could come with significant backlash among Black voters — a category of voters Biden needs in 2024 that served him a major victory in 2020.
Harris’ role as vice president marked an important achievement being the first woman to ever hold her office and the first person of Black or South Asian descent to do so.
TWR: So the Leftist Media…After covering for the Biden Administration for over 2 years, is now coming out with the notion that the sitting Biden/Harris Administration should be replaced for the 2024 Election.

AMERICAN TRUST TRUMP MORE THEN BIDEN ON ECONOMY

As Biden tries to sell Americans on an economic rebound, most Americans aren't buying it, according to an exclusive poll from the Suffolk University Sawyer Business School and USA TODAY that reveals major concerns about the state of the economy and little hope of people's outlook improving.
Nearly 70% of Americans said the economy is getting worse, according to the poll, while only 22% said the economy is improving. Eighty-four percent of Americans said their cost of living is rising, and nearly half of Americans, 49%, blamed food and grocery prices as the main driver.
"Food prices are going up. The rental prices are sky-high. The fuel goes up and down like a yo-yo," said Javier Torres, 65, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, who is unsure he will vote for Biden in 2024 like he did in 2020.
"It's been pretty bad, and I was a supporter of Biden, so I don't know what's going on," said Torres, who is married with three children and manages a warehouse and logistics company in South Florida. "Maybe it's not all his fault − or it is? I don't know. But something's got to give."

Utah Sen. Mitt Romney said Wednesday that he wouldn’t run for a second term in the Senate, with the outspoken critic of Donald Trump citing his age and the need for fresh leadership in Washington as key reasons for his decision.
“I’m a little long in the tooth already. We don’t need more like me,” he said at a press conference Wednesday. “The issues of the day relate to China, climate change, A.I. And a lot of the guys in their 80s don’t know how to deal with those issues.”
Romney, now 76 years old, would have been 83 at the end of a second term.
His planned exit underscores the shift in the Republican Party in recent decades to a more populist direction personified by former President Donald Trump, who lost his White House re-election bid in 2020 but is leading polls for his party’s nomination next year.
“There’s no question but the Republican Party today is in the shadow of Donald Trump,” Romney said, which he termed the populist, demagogue wing. “I represent a small wing of the party…I think ultimately, we’ll see a resurgence.”
In a post on social media, Trump said of Romney’s announcement: “Fantastic news for America, the great state of Utah, & for the Republican Party.”

CALIFORNIA—SUNOL GLEN UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT BANS FLAGS OTHER THAN US OR STATE

Parents and staff are claiming a California school district is targeting LGBTQ Pride flags after the board voted to forbid the display of banners other than the American or California state flags.
Trustees representing the Sunol Glen School Unified School District in the East Bay, which serves 270 K-8 students, made the decision at a Tuesday meeting.
"When a school starts endorsing any single particular point of view, that can be divisive," Board President Ryan Jergensen said when asked to explain the proposed policy.
"The school should be inclusive of all. Individual views are irrelevant. I prefer to seek more for what unites us as a school."
One hundred fifty community members, many of whom came holding rainbow boas and handheld Pride flags, were removed from the school cafeteria by Jergensen after a public comment period around 9 p.m.
The board passed the measure 2-1 a half hour later.

ILLINOIS—CHICAGO TEACHERS UNION PRESIDENT DEFENDS DECISION TO SEND SON TO PRIVATE SCHOOL

A teachers union boss on CNN Tuesday defended sending her son to private school after being accused of hypocrisy.
CNN Primetime host Abby Phillip interviewed Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) President Stacy Davis-Gates to address the widespread criticism she's received for sending her son to a private school for its sports program.
Phillip said, "You've likened in the past private schools of today to quote ‘segregation academies’ of the Jim Crow South. Why then send your child to a private school after speaking out so publicly against them?"
"I didn't speak out against private schools. I spoke out against school choice. School choice and private schools are two different entities," Davis-Gates replied.
"*School choice* was actually the choice of racists," she wrote in an August 2022 post to X, formerly known as Twitter. "It was created to avoid integrating schools with Black children. Now it’s the civil rights struggle of our generation?"
TWR: “…Private schools of today [are] ‘segregation academies’ of the Jim Crow South.”

“…My son’s private Catholic School has a better Soccer Program than the Chicago Public Schools, so none of those racist, bigoted statements I made about all other Chicago Parents apply to me.”
There are simply no words to describe the depth of this hypocrisy, or the breadth of the damage this woman’s “everyone is a racist except me” accusations have done to the people of Chicago.

MAN ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY TOUCHING SPANISH JOURNALIST’S BOTTOM LIVE ON AIR
CNN:
Police in Spain arrested a man on suspicion of sexual assault after he appeared to touch a TV journalist on the bottom as she was reporting live from the streets of Madrid.
The man approached Isa Balado, a journalist for the “En boca de todos” program on Spain’s Cuatro channel, as she was reporting on an alleged robbery on Tuesday.
The man can be seen approaching her and then appearing to touch her bottom as she’s talking to studio anchor Nacho Abad.
Balado tried to continue with her story on camera, but Abad asked her if the man had just touched her bottom.
When Balado said he did, Abad asked her to put “this stupid guy” on camera.
The camera then zooms out to show the man.
“Do you really need to touch my bum?” Baladao asked, before telling him that she’s live on television. “I’d like you to let me work.”
The man was later arrested and Spain’s national police posted a video on X of him being led away in cuffs.
TWR: This is an outrage!! How dare someone reach out and grab the tushie of a serious working journalist in the middle of a report on live television!!
I certainly hope this never happens to me!!
