5TH CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS UPHOLDS RULING THAT BIDEN ADMINISTRATION VIOLATED 1ST AMENDMENT
FOX NEWS:
The Biden Administration "ran afoul" of the First Amendment by trying to pressure social media platforms over controversial COVID-19 content, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans ruled Friday.
In its 75-page ruling, the appeals court panel, made up of two George W. Bush nominees and one Trump nominee, said that President Biden, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the FBI and the surgeon general cannot "coerce" social media platforms to remove content it deems problematic.
However, in its ruling, the court threw out language from a Louisiana judge in July who had ruled that the government could not contact social media platforms to urge them to take content down.
Under the new ruling, the administration has 10 days to seek a Supreme Court review.
TWR: As I have said many times, “The Truth will out…”.
There is no doubt that the Biden Administration violated the 1st Amendment Rights of anyone who dared dispute the “approved narrative” from Our government regarding COVID 19.
There is also no doubt that the “Deep State” used Social Media Companies as proxies to violate the US Constitution as well.
The 5th Circuit, however removed the specific language from US District Court Judge Terry Doughty that specifically named The State Department, the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases, among others.
PRESIDENT OBAMA ‘FULLY AWARE’ OF INFLUENCE PEDDLING: SENATOR RON JOHNSON
NEWSMAX:
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., told Newsmax Saturday that a "full investigation" of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings should include scrutiny of former President Barack Obama because he was "fully aware of a lot of this."
"I know individuals in the Obama State Department were fully well aware of [Hunter Biden’s alleged influence peddling]," Johnson said during an appearance on Newsmax’s "America Right Now."
After acknowledging in June the existence of some 5,400 emails and electronic records associated with then-Vice President Joe Biden's use of alias email accounts, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) missed the Aug. 31 deadline to turn over the documents to the House Oversight Committee, which is conducting the Hunter Biden probe
Last week, NARA said it sent the tranche of documents over to the Biden White House and former President Barack Obama, requesting permission to release the records to the Oversight Committee.
TWR: With every new piece of the Biden Family mosaic emplaced by House Committee investigations, the circle of those apparently covering up the President’s alleged bribery schemes grows.
Now this entire sloppy mess is splattering on former President Obama. This will be where the Democrat ‘Protection Racket’ comes to a screeching halt.
The obvious Political Machine running Our Nation will not allow the Biden Family to damage President Obama in any way.
Further…The inference that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is now firmly entrenched as another insidious part the Deep State is now fully confirmed.
Also, the ‘too clever by half’ decision to send House Oversight Committee requested documents to the White House and President Obama for their approval first, creates the unquestionable dichotomy that NARA is bound by political fealty to negotiate with Democrat Presidents, not dictate to them if they are Trump.
KIA, VOLKSWAGEN, SUBARU, AUDI INVOLVED IN RECALL OF 208-THOUSAND VEHICLES
USA TODAY:
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued multiple recalls last week including nearly 145,000 Kia SUVs for rearview mirror issues.
A rearview camera that does not properly display images can increase the risk of a crash, according to a NHTSA report.
Kia is recalling 144,979 of its 2022-2023 Sorento, Sorento Hybrid, and Sorento Plug-in Hybrid vehicles because mounting clips for the vehicle's rearview camera can break, which can cause the image not to appear properly
Subaru is recalling 8,915 of its 2022 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 sport cars because the rear turn signals may intermittently become inoperative.
Volkswagen also issued a recall for more than 47,000 Jetta compact cars for an ignition switch issue.
Porsche and Audi are recalling 6,676 of its vehicles. The high-voltage battery may have an insufficient amount of sealant, which can allow liquid to accumulate in the battery, increasing the risk of a fire.

MOROCCO—DEADLY MAJOR EARTHQUAKE CLAIMS OVER 2-THOUSAND
REUTERS:
Rescuers raced against time on Monday to find survivors in the rubble more than 48 hours after Morocco's deadliest earthquake in over six decades, with nearly 2,500 killed in a disaster that devastated villages in the High Atlas Mountains.
Search teams from Spain, Britain and Qatar were joining efforts to find survivors of the 6.8 magnitude quake that struck late on Friday night, 72 km (45 miles) southwest of Marrakech.
Many survivors spent a third night outside, their homes destroyed or rendered unsafe. The death toll has climbed to 2,497 with 2,476 people injured, the state news agency reported on Monday.
A magnitude 3.9 aftershock rocked Morocco on Sunday, rattling rescue workers and residents whose homes withstood Friday's magnitude 6.8 temblor that killed more than 2,000 people and turned ancient towns to rubble.
TWR: May God Bless all those affected by this horrific tragedy…
G-20 LEADERS FAIL TO CONDEMN RUSSIA FOR UKRAINE WAR
USA TODAY:
President Joe Biden failed at a weekend summit in India to unite world leaders around a condemnation of Russia's war in Ukraine, drawing a rebuke from Kyiv and putting him on the defensive as he wrapped up a trip abroad.
Neither Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the New Delhi gathering for leaders of the world's most powerful economies, but even in their absence, Russia and China notched a win against the U.S. when it came to rallying the international community against the war that began more than a year and a half ago.
Group of 20 nations declined to explicitly chide Russia for the invasion, saying instead that countries "must refrain from the threat or use of force to seek territorial acquisition" and lamented "the human suffering and negative added impacts of the war."
TWR: The first thing I thought of when reading this story was, “These supposed World Leaders are engineering World War III.”
As the entire World found out in 1937 & 1938, appeasement of invading Dictators could be the most dangerous thing Human Beings can ever do.

PENNSYLVANIA—ESCAPED KILLER DANELO CAVALCANTE ELUDES POLICE
USA TODAY:
The manhunt for Danelo Cavalcante intensified Sunday when authorities in Pennsylvania announced the escaped killer had been seen hours earlier, had changed his appearance and was driving a stolen van that was later found abandoned.
Cavalcante fled a suburban Philadelphia prison Aug. 31, triggering a massive search that resulted in several sightings. The most recent sightings were in Phoenixville, more than 20 miles northeast of the Longwood Gardens botanical park area where a perimeter had been set up that apparently failed to contain Cavalcante.
"No perimeter is 100% secure, ever" State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens said at a Sunday news briefing. "I'm not going to make an excuse . . . I wish it had not happened."
TWR: One thing is for certain…No one, other than Law Enforcement Professionals should interact with Mr. Cavalcante. He’s a convicted killer. He will not hesitate to take you out.
If you are unlucky enough to deal with him directly, give him what he wants. Then, after he is long gone…Call the Police.
ILLINOIS—COMMUNISTS BURN AMERICAN FLAGS OUTSIDE JASON ALDEAN CONCERT
FOX NEWS:
A group of communist revolutionaries burned multiple American flags outside a Jason Aldean concert in Chicago on Saturday night, according to videos of the incident.
The protesters were raising awareness of RevCom (Revolutionary Communist Party), which believes in creating a Marxist revolution in America, calling the USA "the belly of the beast." The RevCom activists burned American flags before police "declared an unlawful assembly and said their activism ‘alarmed and disturbed others,'" according to News2Share, who captured the videos.
"The Revolutionary Communist Party… has taken on the responsibility to lead a revolution in the U.S., the belly of the imperialist beast, as its principal share of the world revolution and the ultimate aim of communism," RevCom's website said.
The group's manifesto praises Mao for what it believes his use of the "scientific method" and some aspects of his Cultural Revolution.
TWR: It has always fascinated me how (supposed) Americans find fascination with a style of government proven to be intellectually, and morally corrupt as Communism…
Why? Because these frauds have no idea what they’re talking about. They have never lived in an actual Communist country. They have never witnessed real governmental depravity.
And apparently, they can’t read, either.
May I suggest “The Gulag Archipelago” by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn?
VIRGINIA—GOVERNOR PARDONS FATHER SCHOOL BOARD PROTESTOR
FOX NEWS:
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin has pardoned the Loudoun County father who protested against the sexual assault of his daughter and her public school's attempt to cover up the incident, his office announced Sunday.
The pardon is for Scott Smith, who was convicted of disorderly conduct in August 2021 after he erupted at school board members over their handling of an investigation into his daughter's attack.
"I spoke with Mr. Smith on Friday, and I had the privilege of telling Mr. Smith that I will pardon him, and we did that on Friday," Youngkin said. "We righted a wrong. He should've never been prosecuted here. This was a dad standing up for his daughter."
"His daughter had been sexually assaulted in the bathroom of a school, and no one was doing anything about it," he continued adding that the school superintendent has "covered it up."
TWR: Good for Governor Younkin…He’s right.
“Mr. Smith should've never been prosecuted here. This was a dad standing up for his daughter."
This is where these degenerate totalitarians want to take our Country.
POLITICS:
PUSHES BACK ON ATTACKS THAT SHE’S UNABLE TO SERVE AS PRESIDENT
NBC NEWS:
Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday pushed back against GOP attacks on both her ability to serve as commander in chief if needed and President Joe Biden’s age in the early race for the White House.
In an interview on CBS' “Face the Nation,” host Margaret Brennan asked Harris to respond to GOP attacks against her ability to serve as president: “They’re talking about what you would do as president as being a risk — they’re homing in on you. Why do you think that is? How do you respond to those attacks? That’s not about policy; that’s about you.”
“They feel the need to attack because they’re scared that we will win based on the merit of the work that Joe Biden and I, and our administration, has done,” Harris said.
Citing a poll in The Wall Street Journal showing that two-thirds of Democrats say Biden is too old to run again, Brennan asked Harris whether she is prepared to be commander in chief.
“Yes, I am, if necessary,” she said. But Biden “is going to be fine," she added.
TWR: This I will leave to you…Do you believe Vice President Kamala Harris is qualified or capable of being the President of the United States…Yes or No, and Why?

NIKKI HALEY SLAMS SENATOR TOMMY TUBERVILLE FOR BLOCKING DOD PROMOTIONS
USA TODAY:
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley criticized Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s R-Ala., months-long blockade on military promotions over a Pentagon abortion policy, calling her fellow Republican's protest a “mistake” and accusing him of harming military families.
“We don’t need to be using military families as political pawns. That’s a mistake. The military members and families, they sacrifice enough, they don’t need to be a pawn in Congress,” Haley, a military spouse herself, said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
Tuberville has single-handedly put on pause over 300 military nominations and promotions in protest of a Pentagon abortion policy that reimburses service members for out-of-state travel costs to receive abortions.
TWR: With this statement, Governor Haley exposes herself as a typical Neo-Con, Machine Politician.
The only people who want the United States directly involved in the Russia/Ukraine conflict are Politicians.
This is a European Issue…Period.
Nikki Haley, and any other 2024 Candidate spoiling for WW III should be defeated at the American People’s very first opportunity.

NOVAK DJOKOVIC WINS US OPEN MEN’S SINGLES TITLE
USA TODAY:
Djokovic, age 36, added another chapter to his greatest-ever résumé on Sunday when he beat Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 in the US Open final, marking his 24th career Grand Slam.
By doing so, he stretched his lead over Rafael Nadal to two in the all-time race, with Nadal’s future uncertain due to injuries that have kept him out since January.
Djokovic’s fourth US Open title and first since 2018 was a statement that he still very much has the physical and mental edge over the younger challengers who have not yet found a way to make him look past his prime.
With this title, Djokovic won three majors in a year for the fourth time in his career, his only loss coming to Carlos Alcaraz in five sets at Wimbledon.
TWR: This US Open victory, in straight sets no less, proves Novak Djokovic is truly one of the greatest Men’s Tennis player to have ever lived.
COWBOYS, LONGHORNS WIN
SPORTS ILLUSTRATED:
The Texas Longhorns dominated Alabama in every phase of the game and rode a strong performance from quarterback Quinn Ewers to a 34-24 upset.
It was the kind of win that had largely eluded the biggest brand in the sport since its unbeaten 2009 regular season, and college football fans and observers across the country had a lot to say about it.
TWR: The Great Kelly Lyons…Longtime Friend to The Wells Report, and Devout Oklahoma Sooners Fan, reminds me on a regular basis how long it’s been since the University of Texas last won the Big 12 Championship…
…It’s been 5028 days.
Thanks Kelly…YKR?
USA TODAY:
The Dallas Cowboys arrived in MetLife Stadium and let New York beat itself over and over on the way to a 40-0 victory.
By the start of the fourth quarter, with the rain and the home team’s performance driving the crowd away, “Let’s Go Cowboys!” chants filled the stadium.
It was the fifth time since 2007 the two teams have played Week 1 on “Sunday Night Football.” Dallas has now won in four of those instances.
TWR: This win was actually a big relief…I don’t know how other NFL Cities handle defeats, but when the Cowboys lose…This place becomes the Island of Misfit Toys.
